About These Terms

These Terms of Use describe the conditions for accessing ExplaneIt Health and using its articles, recipes, images, newsletters, and other publication material. References to ExplaneIt, we, or our refer to the publication in this context. Separate terms may apply when you visit a retailer, social network, research publisher, or another external service through a link.

Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy and Editorial Standards. They explain different aspects of the publication and should be considered alongside any specific notice on the page you are reading. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that applicable law says cannot be excluded or limited.

General Education Only

ExplaneIt provides general information about health, food, nutrition, wellness, and related subjects. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, individualized nutrition care, or a professional consultation. Content is not designed to account for a particular person's history, examination, medicines, allergies, symptoms, or other circumstances that may affect a health decision.

Examples, checklists, preparation ideas, and explanations are educational tools, not personal instructions. An article's discussion of a condition does not mean that you have that condition, and a description of a product does not mean that you need it. Use a qualified health professional for advice that takes your situation into account, even when an article includes relevant references or a named reviewer.

Professional Advice and Urgent Situations

Do not disregard, replace, or delay professional advice because of material on this site. Speak with an appropriate qualified professional before changing prescribed treatment, starting or stopping medicines, using supplements to manage symptoms, or making changes that could affect an existing condition. Extra care may be needed for children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, older adults, and people with complex health needs.

ExplaneIt is not an emergency service. If you believe there is an immediate threat to health or safety, contact the appropriate emergency services in your location. Do not wait for a social-media response, repeatedly check an article, or try a recipe or home remedy as a substitute for urgent assessment. Website availability and message delivery are not a reliable means of obtaining time-sensitive medical assistance.

No Professional Relationship

Reading an article, subscribing to a newsletter, following our social account, clicking a product link, or sending a message does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, therapist-client, or other professional care relationship with ExplaneIt. A reply to a general publication question is not an examination, a diagnosis, or an agreement to provide ongoing monitoring or care.

Please do not send test results, photographs of symptoms, medical records, identity documents, or detailed treatment histories in the expectation of receiving a personal assessment. We cannot determine an appropriate course of care from a message. Social interactions should remain limited to the publication and its content, with personal health questions directed to a qualified professional who can evaluate them appropriately.

Evidence, Accuracy, and Changing Information

We aim to publish useful explanations supported by relevant sources, but health information can be incomplete, contested, or affected by new findings. A source may be corrected, withdrawn, or superseded. Research results can depend on a particular population, preparation, dose, setting, and outcome, so a finding described in an article may not apply to every person or product.

We do not promise that every page will be free of error or reflect every development immediately. Dates identify publication or stated updates; they are not a guarantee of continuous review. You should consult the underlying source and appropriate professional guidance when the accuracy or currency of information could materially affect a decision. Our Editorial Standards describe how we approach evidence and corrections.

Recipes, Food Safety, and Allergens

Recipes and food-preparation ideas are provided for general use. Results may vary with ingredients, equipment, portion size, preparation, storage, altitude, and other conditions. Follow appropriate food-safety practices and the instructions for your appliances. Check product labels yourself, particularly where an allergen, contamination risk, or medically prescribed restriction could have serious consequences.

An ingredient substitution may change more than flavor. It can affect cooking time, texture, allergens, and whether a recipe is suitable for your needs. General descriptions such as high protein or balanced do not establish that a meal is appropriate for a particular condition. Any nutrition figures identified as estimates are not laboratory measurements or a substitute for an individualized nutrition assessment.

Herbs, Supplements, and Home Remedies

Coverage of a botanical, supplement, traditional practice, or home preparation is not an instruction to use it for treatment. Culinary ingredients, essential oils, isolated compounds, standardized extracts, capsules, and homemade drinks are different preparations. Do not assume that a result involving one form establishes the safety or effectiveness of another, or that natural origin eliminates the possibility of harm.

Do not replace prescribed medicines or delay care for a suspected infection or other medical problem with information from a remedy article. Product composition, labeling, regulation, and quality can differ between sellers and locations. A qualified clinician or pharmacist is the appropriate person to consider interactions, contraindications, and personal circumstances before you use a product for a health purpose.

Advertising and Sponsored Material

Advertisements, when displayed, are commercial placements rather than part of an article's medical explanation. The presence of an advertisement does not mean that ExplaneIt, an author, a source, or a reviewer recommends the advertiser or the product. Advertising claims and the terms of an advertised offer should be assessed separately from the surrounding editorial material.

Sponsored material should be identifiable as such. Commercial relationships do not authorize unsupported safety claims or remove the need for relevant evidence. We may change advertising availability or placement over time. You should not interpret an advertisement, a personalized offer, a discount, or a prominent display position as evidence that something is suitable for your individual health needs.

Permitted Personal Use

You may access public pages and read the material for lawful personal, non-commercial use. You may share a link to an article through ordinary social sharing, messaging, or a reference list. Keeping a link preserves access to the full explanation, sources, publication context, and any later correction more reliably than reproducing an isolated paragraph or screenshot.

This permission does not transfer ownership of the publication's content or authorize you to represent yourself as ExplaneIt. It does not grant a right to sell our material, distribute a copied article as your own, create a misleading endorsement, or use the brand in a way that suggests sponsorship. Any use independently permitted by applicable copyright law remains subject to that law.

Acceptable Conduct

Use the site lawfully and in a way that respects the publication and other readers. Do not introduce malicious code, interfere with normal operation, evade protective controls, impersonate another person, send deceptive subscription requests, or use the site to facilitate fraud or harassment. Attempts to disrupt availability or obtain information without permission are not authorized by access to public pages.

Automated access must not create an unreasonable load, circumvent restrictions, or reproduce protected content without a lawful basis. Public availability is not permission to collect another person's information or misrepresent an affiliation with the publication. We may take proportionate steps to protect the service, including limiting requests or restricting abusive access, subject to applicable law.

Newsletters and Social Media

Newsletter subscriptions are optional and do not create an account or unlock a separate level of medical advice. If the newsletter is available and you choose to subscribe, use an address you are authorized to provide and follow any confirmation step. You can stop future newsletter messages using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the email. Newsletter participation is not required to read public articles.

Social posts and email previews necessarily contain less detail than a full article. Read the linked article before relying on a brief summary, and keep its limitations and safety context in view. Following @explaneit_health is a way to discover health articles, not a subscription to individual care. Instagram and other third-party services also apply their own terms and privacy practices.

Messages and Editorial Feedback

For general publication questions, correction suggestions, or privacy requests, you can use the ExplaneIt Instagram profile linked below. Include the article title or address and the specific issue when raising an editorial concern. Keep messages concise and avoid sensitive personal information. A direct message is preferable to a public comment for matters involving your subscription or privacy.

Sending feedback does not guarantee publication, a particular response time, or agreement with a proposed change. We do not undertake medical consultations through social media. Please do not send information belonging to another person without authority or share confidential documents. We will not treat a message as permission to publish an identifiable personal story without an appropriate basis.

External Websites and Services

Links to research papers, health organizations, retailers, and other websites are provided for context or convenience. We do not control those websites, their availability, their changes, or their treatment of personal information. A linked page may move, require registration, display advertisements, or be governed by terms different from those on ExplaneIt.

Review the external service's terms, privacy notice, and current information before submitting details or making a purchase. Inclusion of a link is not a blanket endorsement of everything on the destination site. We cannot guarantee that a third party will keep a page unchanged, continue an offer, or maintain access to a particular document.

Availability and Changes to the Publication

We may revise, reorganize, replace, or remove content and features as the publication develops or when accuracy, safety, technical, or legal considerations require a change. Public pages may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or interruptions. We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of a particular article at an unchanged address.

A service interruption should not affect a time-sensitive health decision because this site is not a source of emergency care. Where a broken link or display problem prevents you from reading an explanation in full, do not rely on the fragment that remains visible. Refer to an appropriate original source or professional service instead of assuming that missing context is unimportant.

Disclaimers and Limits of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its educational material are provided on an as-available basis without a promise that they will meet every reader's requirements or produce a particular result. We do not guarantee a health outcome, a product's performance, the accuracy of an external service, or that access will always be uninterrupted or free from technical problems.

To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general information, third-party transactions, or interruptions to the site. These terms do not exclude or limit responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including any non-excludable consumer rights or liability arising from conduct that applicable law does not allow a publication to disclaim.

Applicable Rights and Interpretation

Laws differ between locations, and some protections apply regardless of the wording of a website's terms. Nothing here is intended to impose a mandatory arbitration arrangement, waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived, or prevent you from seeking a remedy available under applicable law. A general disclaimer should not be read more broadly than the law permits.

If a particular provision is found unenforceable, that does not automatically invalidate the remainder of these terms. A failure to exercise a right on one occasion does not necessarily waive that right in a later situation. Headings are provided for readability and do not replace the meaning of the underlying text. These terms concern use of ExplaneIt, not a contract for professional healthcare.

Updates to These Terms

These terms may change when the publication, its features, or relevant requirements change. The date at the top of the page identifies this version. Review the current terms periodically, particularly before using a newly introduced feature or relying on an earlier description of how the site operates. Any notice required by applicable law will take precedence over a general statement in these terms.

A change to the terms does not automatically give us permission for a new use of personal information where separate permission is required. Information about data handling and available choices belongs in the Privacy Policy. Questions about the publication or a specific provision can be directed to @explaneit_health on Instagram without sharing personal medical information.
